Community Connections

At Noorat Primary School, we want to embed a sense of community in our students by providing them opportunities to connect with members of our community.

We work closely with the Noorat Residents’ Association to look after our beautiful village! We work collaboratively to showcase the incredible place that Noorat is by collating and printing to the monthly Noo News. The Noo News is available on our website under, Newsletters.

Annually, we also create the town-centre Christmas window display, provide decorations for events and assist with the maintenance of the native gardens which wind down the centre of MacKinnon’s Bridge Road.

Gnurad Gundidj - School for student leadership

We love collaborating with Gnurad Gundidj’s School for Student Leadership. Each year we take our senior students to their campus to enjoy a day of planned activities.

The whole day, including communication, organisation and activities are planned by the students developing their leadership skills throughout their time at the Gnurad Gundidj Campus.

Terang Kindergarten

We value the importance of preparing all children for the beginning of their School Journey. As such, we regularly connect with the Terang Kindergarten to support their children and develop meaningful relationships for our students. Together with other local schools, we offer a comprehensive transition program where all children experience the various schools to find the perfect fit to meet their individual needs.
